SCED 28226 - Science in the Elementary School


Credit Hours: 3
In this course, candidates will learn strategies and skills essential for the instruction of science in the elementary school. The course provides experiences using scientific equipment and material in many elementary school science programs. Individualized and small group activities are provided to give experience in using various methods in teaching science.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 04102  and BIOL 04103  with C or better, PHSC 40102  and PHSC 40103  with a C or better, and EDCI 62108  and EDCI 62116  with a C or better.
Corequisite(s): Elementary and Special Education majors: MATH 17323  and EDCI 62324 .
