MATH 17323 - Math Assessment and Intervention: Theories and Techniques Credit Hours: 3 Candidates in this module will investigate principles of using universal screeners and curriculum-based measures (CBMs) to assess and evaluate student performance in mathematics. Use of assessment tools in mathematics to identify learning problems, to monitor student growth, and to implement response to intervention practices will be explored in this module with content focusing on operations of fractions, ratios and proportions, algebraic thinking, geometry, and number theory.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 17227 or MATH 17226 , MATH 17371 each with a C or better and Admittance to Teacher Education. Corequisite(s): Elementary and Special Education majors: EDCI 62324 and SCED 28226 . Typically Offered: FA, SP
