The Bachelor of Science in Public Health is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to provide students with the skills necessary to improve health, educate others on health topics, and prevent diseases of populations and communities. Public Health majors will be introduced to concepts associated with disparities and improvement of the health of diverse populations, health policy, and epidemiology; and will develop skills to critically evaluate health problems, investigate health trends to develop interventions, learn to communicate to constituents, and to become leaders in public health.

Note:


PSYC 08103  and EDM 36305  are prerequisites for PSYC 08345 . EDM 36305  is offered fall, even years. GEOG 32101  and GEOL 27114  & GEOL 27115  are prerequisites for GEOG 32370 .

If any courses in this program are also used to fulfill a Northwest Core or Institutional Requirement, the number of credits may be counted only once toward the total number of credit hours required for graduation.
