CSIS 44457 - Applied Cryptography


Credit Hours: 3
Cryptography is the primary tool used to protect information within digital communication systems. This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the cryptographic tools and algorithms currently in use. We will discuss the benefits and limitations of these algorithms and learn how to securely use each in real-world applications.

Prerequisite(s): CSIS 44356  and CSIS 44249 , each with a minimum grade of C.
