Note:


POLS 34102  and MATH 17114 : These courses fulfill a Northwest Core requirement as well as a requirement of the major, but the number of credit hours may be counted only once toward the total number of credit hours required for graduation.

POLS 34497 - Research Seminar in Political Science  may only be taken for credit after the completion of 90 credit hours. It may be repeated for credit with a different topic after the Political Science Foundations requirement has been met.

Students must choose 9 hours from the following courses.

POLS 34492 - Research in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Studies , POLS 34493 - Internship in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Studies , and POLS 34496 - Internship in Political Science-non-major/minor credit  may not be taken as a Political Science Elective.

POLS 34105 - The African World  cannot be used to fulfill a NW Core requirement if taken for the major.

POLS 34462 - Comparative Political Systems and Behaviors  may be taken for repeat credit with a different topic in addition to the nine hours required in the Global Affairs Foundations.

POLS 34465 - Substantive Policy  may be taken for repeat credit with a different topic.

POLS 34495 - Internship in Political Science  is limited to six hours in Political Science Electives.

POLS 34497 - Research Seminar in Political Science  may be taken for repeat credit with a different topic after fulfilling the Political Foundations requirement and completion of 90 hours of credit.

Minor requirements and/or free electives as needed to reach minimum 120 graduation hours
