THEA 43497 - Theatre Capstone

Concentrates on the development of the theatre professional. Topics include ethics; career planning strategies; internships, graduate school and advanced training opportunities; union membership; parallel industry careers; and emerging trends in the performing arts. This course includes a formal presentation of the student’s professional portfolio and preparation for public performance or exhibition of research, methods and practices comprising the student’s area of emphasis in theatre (senior project).

Prerequisite(s): Advanced standing and permission of department chairperson.
