ENGL 10226 - Modern and Contemporary World Literature

This course examines literature of the twentieth century and later. The major focus of the course will be on world literature other than that produced in the United States or Great Britain. The course includes close critical reading of a variety of genres as well as attention to the cultural contexts from which the literature derives.
