EDCI 62447 - Methods in Early Childhood Special Education


Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to develop skills, which enable to prospective teacher of the young child with special needs (birth to age 8 years), to function as a facilitator of life-long learning in a world of change. The teachers-in-training will develop the knowledge to plan and organize appropriate curriculum content and learning sequences, identify and implement appropriate instructional strategies, techniques, and environments, and work effectively with parents and families, caregivers, and other professionals.

Prerequisite(s): Admittance to Teacher Education.
