Professional Learning communities will bring together teacher candidates to share and reflect upon the knowledge, skills, and dispositions gained in various courses. The focus of PLC IV is on becoming familiar with professional organizations and developing an understanding of the importance of being a part of a professional organization. In addition, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the work of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). By working in small groups of colleagues and peers, learning will be emergent, targeted, and collaborative.
