CRIM 46301 - Research Methods in Criminology and Criminal Justice


Credit Hours: 3
An introduction to the scientific method as it is applied to criminological research. Course content includes a study of basic research issues and strategies utilized by criminological researchers. Basic issues covered include research ethics, causality, the relationship between theory and research methods, and the use of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 17114  and either CRIM 46210  or SOC 35321 .
