ART 13317 - Modern and Contemporary Art Credit Hours: 3 An examination of the major themes and protagonists in art, architecture, and visual culture from the late 19th century to the present, or from Post-Impressionism to Contemporary. The course emphasizes in-depth visual and theoretical analysis of artworks as well as comparative cultural study, with close attention paid to social, historical, political, and ideological contexts.
Prerequisite(s): ART 13109 and ART 13111 , both with a minimum grade of C, or permission of instructor for non-majors/minors. Typically Offered: Odd FA
