ART 13313 - Renaissance through Early Modern Art Credit Hours: 3 An examination of the major themes and protagonists in art, architecture, and visual culture from the 14th through the mid-19th century, or from the Renaissance through Realism and Impressionism. The course emphasizes in-depth visual and theoretical analysis of artworks as well as comparative cultural study with close attention paid to social, historical, political, and religious contexts.
Prerequisite(s): ART 13109 and ART 13111 , both with a minimum grade of C, or by permission of instructor for non-majors/minors.
