SCGD 68629 - Practicum in Elementary School Counseling

Credit Hours: 3 to 6

Must be taken singularly and as last course in program. Provides a supervised school counseling experience in an elementary school, secondary school, or related setting. The school experience provides students an opportunity to practice, develop, demonstrate, and refine counselor skills and competencies. Students are placed at grade levels which are compatible with their intended level of certification.

Prerequisite(s): SCGD 68628, field practicum application and consent of advisor.
