Topics include the foundation of quantum chemistry, atomic and molecular structure, spectroscopy, and computational chemistry. It is strongly suggested that CHEM 24532  be taken prior to CHEM 24534 .

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 24116  and CHEM 24117  with a minimum grade of C, PHYS 25120  and MATH 17121 .
