This degree program is designed to give students the opportunity to study in biochemistry with several electives that allow students to tailor the major to their individual interests and specific academic needs. The degree program will provide training for a future career and/or graduate-level training in biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, and biotechnology and also prepares students for admission to professional schools (medicine, optometry, pharmacy, etc.).
