The College of Education, Health and Human Services is comprised of the School of Education and the School of Health Science and Wellness. The College also supports the Northwest Regional Professional Development Center and the Horace Mann Laboratory School, Infant and Toddler center, and Phyllis and Richard Leet Center preschool for Children and Families.

Eleven M.S.Ed. degree programs are available within the College of Education, Health and Human Services: Curriculum and Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Educational Diagnostician, Educational Diagnostician with School Psychological Examiner, Educational Leadership: K-12, Health and Physical Education, Reading, School Counseling, Special Education, Special Education with certification, Trauma Studies. In cooperation with the Arts, Communication and Social Sciences, areas of concentration for the Master of Science in Education in teaching are provided in English and History.

The M.S. degree is available in four degree programs: Applied Health and Sport Sciences, Nutrition, Recreation, and Therapeutic Recreation.

The M.S.N. degree is available in Nursing.

The Ed.S. degree is available in Educational Diagnostician, Educational Leadership K-12, Superintendent, and Generalist.

Graduate certificate programs are available in six degree areas: Central Office/Special Education Director - District Level, Central Office/Superintendent - District Level, Nurse Educator, Nursing Administrator, Special Education Administrator, Therapeutic Recreation, and Trauma Studies Graduate Certificate.

State Teaching Certification is available in three graduate pathways: Alternative Certification Program, Middle School Alternative Certification Program (5-9 Endorsement), and Secondary Alternative Certification Program.

Graduate teaching and research assistantships are available to students in the School of Health Science and Wellness within the College on a competitive basis in certain programs.
