CHEM 24562 - General Biochemistry

An introductory course in biochemistry which deals with selected topics in the field. The description and function of amino acids, proteins, fats, nucleic acids, and certain carbohydrates will be discussed. Enzymes and their role in metabolic processes will be emphasized.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 24342, CHEM 24343, and BIOL 04310 with a minimum grade of C OR instructor consent.
