CHEM 24540 - Physical Biochemistry Credit Hours: 3 Physical biochemistry is the study of the interactions of atoms and molecules that make up the proteins and biomolecules that enable life. The energy and forces that determine everything from protein folding to drug inhibition are covered in topics discussing thermodynamics, kinetics, and the instrumentation used in the biochemical field.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 24342 with a minimum grade of C; PHYS 25230 or PHYS 25112 with a minimum grade of C; and MATH 17118 or MATH 17120 with a minimum grade of C. Typically Offered: SP
