HPER 22442 - Applied Strength & Conditioning


Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of strength and conditioning. Emphasis is placed on exercise physiology, exercise technique, program design, organization and administration, and testing and evaluation. Additionally, this course is designed to prepare students for the nationally accredited Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam. Laboratories are included. 

Prerequisite(s): HPER 22254  and HPER 22332  with a minimum grade of C.
