EDCI 62346 - Introduction to Trauma-Informed Practices

This course will provide students with an introductory overview of the concept of trauma including terminology, key concepts, types of trauma and adversities, causes, and short-and long-term consequences of trauma. Students will increase their knowledge on how trauma significantly impacts academic performance, developmental domains, behavior, and social interactions.
