NUTR 47435 - Pharmacology for the Dietitian


Credit Hours: 3
This course focuses on the drug and nutrient interactions of common medications. Basic pharmacology concepts, nutrition and metabolism, drug interactions in nutrition support, dietary counseling to prevent food-drug interactions, and the role of ergogenic aids in sports nutrition will all be covered. This course is designed for dietitians.
