MMED 20314 - Communication Law and Ethics

A study of the legal aspects of the mass media, particularly libel, obscenity, prior restraint, licensing, privacy, copyright, FCC regulations, and First Amendment issues. Also, the course will include examination of media ethics and responsibility.
