MATH 17226 - Math in the Elementary Classroom


Credit Hours: 3
In this course, candidates will learn strategies and skills for teaching, assessment, and evaluation necessary for instruction of mathematics in the early elementary school. Emphasis will be given to activities which provide experience with various methods of teaching mathematics to early learners, development of a positive student mindset and strategies to evaluate instructional materials.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 17171  with a grade of C or better.
