HIST 33320 - Public History in the U.S. Credit Hours: 3 An introduction to the history, theories, and practices of public history in the U.S. Study will include an overview of fields such as museum education, curatorship, and collections, historic preservation, libraries, and archives. Students will examine the history of these fields, understand how they have evolved in the U.S., and gain practical skills.
