GEOL 27360 - Environmental Geology


Credit Hours: 3
A study of geology focusing on the inter-relationship between man and his environment and resulting impacts to the Earth’s systems. Topics investigated include natural processes as hazards, man’s impacts on earth resources as well as contemporary environmental issues (e.g., climate change, sea rise, pollution, earthquakes, etc.)

Prerequisite(s): GEOL 27110  and GEOL 27111  or GEOL 27114  and GEOL 27115 .
Hours per week: Three lecture hours each week.
