ENGL 10351 - Science Fiction Literature


Credit Hours: 3
An examination of the history, thematic development, and artistic and social impact of science fiction, especially in print but not exclusive of other literary media. A fundamental goal of the course will be to interrogate how science fiction, which exemplifies the broader genre of fantastic literature, is not only fantastic but also literature.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 10111  or ENGL 10115 ; and ENGL 10220 .
