EDCI 62520 - Introduction to Teaching Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

This course is intended to develop effective teachers of students with autism spectrum disorders. This course will cover a wide variety of topics regarding students with autism spectrum disorders: from characteristics, basic knowledge of assessment, to effective practices used to address their unique needs in school, family, and community. This course will provide an introduction and overview of issues surrounding the education of students with autism spectrum disorders.
