BIOL 04576 - Methods in Plant and Animal Ecology


Credit Hours: 3
A studio course that provides a balanced survey of a variety of field techniques involving data collection or simulation and analysis of plant and animal populations and communities. Laboratory and field exercises will focus on critical thinking and problem-solving. This course is NOT designed to emphasize ecological theory nor scientific writing although aspects of each are included.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 04376 
Recommended Prerequisite(s): MATH 17114  for science majors highly recommended.
Hours per week: Six hours of studio course times per week.
