BIOL 04238 - Physiology Allied Health

Credit Hours: 4
The study of human physiological processes from the perspective of an allied health professional. Topics include muscle, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, reproductive and endocrine physiology. Physiological responses to important medications and patient nutrient status will be emphasized.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 04102 and BIOL 04103 or BIOL 04106 and BIOL 04107 and CHEM 24112 and CHEM 24113 or CHEM 24114 and CHEM 24115.
Hours per week: Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
