This course examines contemporary issues confronting accountants, business, and their stakeholders. Topics such as corporate governance (the balance between economic and social goals and individual and communal goals), professional ethics, fraud examination, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability reporting and critical accounting perspectives may be examined.
