Explores the role of leisure in adult development with focus on the aging process, leisure needs, and leisure services. Basic concepts associated with leisure, aging, targeting leisure services, research, and public policy are presented based on forecasting leisure demand in the 21st century. Further examines contemporary issues related to older adults and their leisure behavior, including constraints, legislation, lifestyle factors, and research related to quality of life.
