MATH 17630 - Practicum for Elementary Mathematics Specialists

Credit Hours: 3

This practicum course serves as a capstone for the Masters in Elementary Mathematics Program. Candidates will acquire experience through their practicum that provides opportunities to synthesize and apply the content knowledge, develop and refine the leadership skills, and demonstrate their capabilities as an Elementary Mathematics Specialist included in the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educator’s EMS Standards.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in 9 hours from MATH 17623, MATH 17625, MATH 17626, MATH 17627, or MATH 17628 and either EDCI 62623 or EDCI 62624.
