REC 45461 - Therapeutic Recreation Interventions with the Elderly

The course is designed to introduce students to various therapeutic activity intervention strategies that have been shown to benefit frail older adults. Emphasis will be given to looking at behavior issues, physical and mental challenges, documentation, evaluation, and communication with the elderly.
