LANG 14448 - Survey of Spanish Language Literature

This course offers a general overview of major literary works and movements in both Spain and Latin America from the outset of the Colonial period to the present. It includes a discussion of the important historical, cultural, social, and ideological issues that underlie each movement. The genres to be studied include poetry, short story, drama, and essay.

Prerequisite(s): LANG 14243 or equivalent.
