EDCI 62222 - Social Studies in the Elementary School

In this course, candidates will learn strategies and skills necessary for the instruction of Social Studies in the elementary school. Emphasis will be given to the integration of Social Studies with content literacy, art, music, and physical education. This course requires 3-5 hours of field experience work.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in EDCI 62107, EDCI 62113, EDCI 62108, and EDCI 62116.
Corequisite(s): Elementary and Special Education majors: EDCI 62220 and EDCI 62223.
